COVID-19 FAQ's

When will your venues re-open?

Montpeliers Bruntsfield, Tigerlily, Rabble Taphouse & Grill, Candy Bar and Indigo Yard are all fully open. PLease check individual websites for opening times. Lulu and Eastside will remain closed for the time being. Please keep a watch on all social media channels for further updates.

Will you be taking bookings in advance of re-opening?

Yes, absolutely and booking is advised as we will be operating with limited capacity to ensure social distancing. Please note that in all venues, each booking will have 2 hours on the table. Please note, Candy Bar will currently not be offering takeaway pizzas. To book, please visit our individual websites. 

Will there be a limit to the number of people that can dine at any one time?

As per current Government restrictions, we currently have a maximum booking limit of 15 per table from 15 households outdoors and 10 per table from 4 households indoors. We will follow all Scottish Government guidance on limitations to the number of people who can dine at any one time. Please note to maintain social distancing we are unable to accommodate larger parties spread over a number of tables. For any additional booking T&C’s please see booking confirmation emails.

What measures does the venue have in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission?

We have provided all staff with Personal Protective Equipment and training on cleaning and hygiene procedures. We have introduced new cleaning rotas which are completed every 30minutes. We have configured our restaurants and bars and will only be providing table service to allow for social distancing. On arrival, all guests will receive a temperature check from a member of staff. Please note, any guest who displays a temperature consistent with a fever will be asked to re-schedule their booking. We also request all of our customers wear masks when moving around the restaurant. We are providing scenario-based guidance to all employees on how to work through various COVID-19 related situations. Additionally, we have received our Visit Scotland 'Good to Go' certification which demonstrates that we are adhering to the respective government and public health guidance, and have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment to check we have the required processes and protocols in place. Track and Trace protocols will be in place and you will be asked to provide details of each household on arrival. We will constantly review all processes and procedures in line with any new Scottish Government guidelines or advice to ensure the safety of our staff and guests. Will there be a staff member to show me to my seat when I arrive in the venue?

All our venues will have a dedicated host who will show you to your seat on arrival and ensure any changes to our service are conveyed.

Will there be any changes to the way I order and pay?

We have placed QR codes on all tables and will encourage their use for menus, however, we will still have paper menus should use wish. These are single-use and must be asked for from the server.

I have a voucher that expired during your period of closure, can I use this once you have re-opened?

We have extended the validity of all our own Company vouchers that were purchased after 1st January 2019 and these will now be valid until 31st December 2021. Any ITISON vouchers for our hotels will be extended until July 2021. If you have any questions regarding your specific voucher, please contact the venue directly.
